Discovery Kids Puterbugs Technology Classes for ages 3-8
The leaders of technology education at Imagine Tomorrow® have teamed up with experts at Discovery KidsTM (Discovery Channel®) to bring Discovery Kids Puterbugs, a fun class that teaches kids ages 8 and younger to use technology to solve problems and build important skills.
From the very first class, children receive more than just computer basics. Each experience integrates sophistocated technology concepts such as Email and the Internet in an age-appropriate way that even our youngest students understand and enjoy.
During class, children become Computer Detectives on a learning adventure to imaginative places such as the Email Trail or Internet Island. Classes start with an interactive video voicemail describing a new, fun-filled mission. Children then move on to their own computers where they work on custom software designed specifically for each mission. Advancing at their own pace, children proudly apply new technology skills to solve problems and accomplish their goal. When class ends, children extend their learning from home with an online class component.
The result is more than just a class. Discovery Kids Puterbugs is a positive learning experience that not only boosts computer and literacy skills, but also builds self-confidence in an environment where every child is successful.
